The Realm of Wannabe is slowly being destroyed due to the disappearance of children's creativity and the lack of playtime. Toys are breaking apart, stealing each other's parts and hiding themselves in order to survive.
Parents are also to blame for not engaging in play or storytelling with their kiddos. Some toys resent their past owners, while others mourn happier times. The Naive King, the king of this realm, believes children will play again, but they can not wait any longer. The only way to save the world is through The Toymakers Book.
The Toymakers Book is a guide to fix every type of toy with the help of magic, but it also has a seal to cut ties between the real world and the realm, making it independent of the childrens creativity to stay alive.

As time progresses, the children are exploited and forgotten, with the difference on how it is done in each time period. In an age that the whimisy of childhood is falling apart and parents don't bother to tell stories. it all reflects on the very thing they play with, toys.
Once a gesture of kindness towards the young, turned into a branch of the industry.
Toys are not made to be played with, they are meant to profit.
Children are not made to play, they are meant to consume.
now that chidren doesn't play with their toys anymore and moved to other things, the toys made with love are left alone.
